My husband’s cousin runs a farm out in Midland and every year they host a pancake breakfast to promote the start of maple syrup season. We took a tour of their facility and the syrup process was really interesting. Now I understand why maple syrup and other bi-products are so expensive – the process takes a very long time! I also fell in love with their farm, one day I would love to end up out in the country.
